This weekend, we had the opportunity to visit Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens to take in the beautiful sights of the spring flower show. Spring is my absolute favorite time of the year. It means new beginnings. The old crunchy, dried up leaves are replaced with vibrant colors, aromatic scents, and most importantly new life. The rows of tulips leading up to Phipps were beautiful and I couldn’t help but notice that among the field of red, there were a few purple tulips that stood out against the crowd. I love the significance in that. Even thought the purple was smaller and different, it was not any less beautiful. That can be said for all of God’s creation and is a great reminder that no matter where we are in life, God has a specific purpose assigned for all of us.

Dare to be Different
